• Oracle ORCL reported fiscal second quarter earnings of $0.51, beating the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $0.44, on revenues of $8.6 billion that topped the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $8.3 billion

• Take-Two Interactive Software TTWO posted stronger fiscal fourth quarter earnings of $0.67 ahead the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $0.23, revenues up 32% to $374 million, ahead of Zacks Consensus Estimate of$ 223 million.

• Accenture's ACN reported fiscal first quarter earnings of $0.81 ahead of the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $0.75, as revenues increased by 32% to $6.1 billion, ahead of the Zacks Consensus Estimate of  $5.54 billion

• AstraZeneca's AZN new heart drug Brilinta failed to succeed in getting regulatory approval in the US

• BMO Financial announced their plans to purchase Marshall & Ilsley MI for $4.1 billion

• JP Morgan JPM upgraded  Aon AON to "overweight"
