UPDATE: Archer Daniels Midland Reports Weaker-Than-Expected FQ4 Profit; Shares Down In Pre-Market

Archer Daniels Midland Co ADM reported a decline in its fiscal fourth-quarter profit. Archer Daniels Midland reported its quarterly profit at $381 million, or $0.58 per share, down from $446 million, or $0.69 per share, in the year-earlier period. Analysts were expecting earnings of $0.85 per share. The company's net sales and other operating income surged to $22.87 billion from $15.7 billion. Archer Daniels Midland shares dipped 5.51% to $28.80 in pre-market trading.
