Market Update

Shares of Pacific Gas & Electric Corp PCG fell about 0.2% after the company named a Michigan energy executive as its new president and CEO. Shares of Snyder's-Lance Inc LNCE dropped about 2.3% after the company acquired all of the issued and outstanding shares of George Greer Company Inc. Shares of Walt Disney Company (The) DIS gained about 1.2% as the company is all set to report its quarterly results after the closing bell. Disney is projected to report its FQ3 EPS at $0.73 on revenue of $10.45 billion. Primus Telecommunications Group Incorporated PTGI reported that its board of directors has authorized a stock repurchase program of up to $15 million of its common stock.
