Pre-open movers US stock futures are higher this morning. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average surged 43 points to 11,487.00 and S&P 500 index futures rose 5.70 points to 1,212.30. Nasdaq 100 futures gained 6.25 points to 2,324.25. A Peek Into Global Markets European markets were lower today. The STOXX Europe 600 Index fell 0.38%, London's FTSE 100 Index moved down 0.74%, French CAC 40 index declined 0.79% and German DAX 30 index dropped 0.87%. Asian markets ended lower, with Japan's Nikkei Stock Average dropping 1.0304%, Australia's S&P/ASX 200 moving down 1.59% and China's Shanghai Composite dropping 1.94%. Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index dipped 1.7812% and India's Sensex declined 0.83%.
