Stocks To Watch For March 27

Some of the stocks that may grab investor focus today are: ISTA Pharmaceuticals Inc ISTA agreed to be bought by privately held company Bausch & Lomb for $9.10 per share in cash, or around $500 million. ISTA shares surged 8% to $9.05 in the after-hours trading session. Apollo Group Inc APOL reported its Q2 earnings, excluding items, at $0.58 per share. However, analysts were expecting earnings of $0.39 per share. APOL shares dropped 3.94% to $41.50 in the after-hours trading session. Wall Street expects Walgreen Co WAG to post its Q2 EPS at $0.77 on revenue of $18.52 billion. WAG shares gained 0.38% to $34.50 in after-hours trading. Hatteras Financial Corp HTS announced its plans to sell 15 million shares in a public offering. HTS shares declined 2.64% to $27.30 in the after-hours trading session. Landec Corp LNDC reported its Q3 earnings at $0.18 per share, versus analysts' estimates of $0.13 per share. LNDC shares jumped 12.14% to $7.85 in after-hours trading.
