Livestream, a live streaming video platform, has been down Friday morning. Trying to connect directly to Livestream's website will take you to an error page. Livestream initially reported issues with its platform around 3:49 a.m. EST. The company identified a power outage issue in its data center facility, Livestream told Benzinga via email.
Internap INAP is Livestream's data center provider. Data engineers are trying to restore power, and Livestream referred Benzinga to its service health center for further updates. “We are working to restore power as quickly as possible and will be updating this status every hour until the issue has been resolved,” a company status update said.
