US stock futures traded slightly lower in early pre-market trade. The U.S. international trade report for September will be released at 8:30 a.m. ET, while factory orders data for September will be released at 10:00 a.m. ET. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average tumbled 10 points to 17,275.00, while the Standard & Poor's 500 index futures fell 2.20 points to 2,008.90. Futures for the Nasdaq 100 index dropped 6.50 points to 4,150.75.

European markets were mixed today, with the Spanish Ibex Index falling 0.17%, STOXX Europe 600 Index rising 0.15%. German DAX 30 index climbed 0.32%, French CAC 40 Index declined 0.02% and London's FTSE 100 Index gained 0.06%. In Asian markets, Japan's Nikkei Stock Average jumped 2.73%, Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index fell 0.29% and China's Shanghai Composite Index jumped 0.03%.

Analysts at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey upgraded Eastman Chemical Company (NYSE:

) from Neutral to Buy. The price target for Eastman Chemical has been raised from $89 to $95. Eastman Chemical's shares closed at $82.03 yesterday.
