Fertilizer Stocks Going Wild As Grains Surge (AGU, MOS, POT, CF)

Last night, Mosaic MOS released its quarterly earnings results, missing analysts' consensus revenue estimates. MOS shares have lost 0.78% to $79.82 in the wake of this disappointment. All of Mosaic's competitors are flying higher, however, as the grain complex has gone crazy due to a bullish crop report. Corn futures are locked limit up, gaining around 4.52%. CBOT wheat has surged 4.61% on the session. In turn, fertilizer stocks are putting in very strong showings on Thursday. Leading the complex is CF Industries CF which has jumped 4.21% to $138.09. Agrium AGU shares are 3.16% higher at $92.50 and Potash POT has tacked on 2% and is trading at $59.33.
