UniFirst, Acuity Brands And 3 Stocks To Watch Heading Into Wednesday

With U.S. stock futures trading higher this morning on Wednesday, some of the stocks that may grab investor focus today are as follows:

  • Wall Street expects UniFirst Corp. UNF to report quarterly earnings at $2.22 per share on revenue of $606.62 million before the opening bell, according to data from Benzinga Pro. UniFirst shares gained 2.5% to $209.76 in after-hours trading.
  • Cal-Maine Foods, Inc. CALM posted better-than-expected results for its second quarter. The company said it set a quarterly record for total dozens sold and specialty dozens sold. It also announced a cash dividend of approximately $1.49 per share. Cal-Maine shares climbed 3.8% to $107.60 in the after-hours trading session.
  • Analysts are expecting Acuity Brands, Inc. AYI to post quarterly earnings at $3.89 per share on revenue of $956.18 million. The company will release earnings before the markets open. Acuity Brands shares fell 0.3% to $303.00 in after-hours trading.

  • AAR Corp. AIR posted stronger-than-expected second-quarter results. The company reported quarterly earnings of 90 cents per share, which beat the analyst consensus estimate of 84 cents. Quarterly revenue came in at $686.1 million, which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $654.18 million. AAR shares surged 5.8% to $65.35 in the after-hours trading session.
  • Analysts expect PriceSmart, Inc. PSMT to post quarterly earnings at $3.68 per share on revenue of $751.49 million after the closing bell. PriceSmart shares gained 0.6% to close at $92.22 on Tuesday.
