Benzinga’s Top Pre-Market Gainers (GERN, MSPD, ENG, QGEN, ASML)

Geron Corp GERN soared 4.80% to $5.68 in the pre-market session. GERN announced positive data on TAT153, its orally available small molecule telomerase activator in an animal model of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF). Mindspeed Technologies Inc MSPD added 2.36% to $9.10 in pre-market trading. Today MSPD’s CEO Raouf Y Halim, will serve as a featured panelist at the 2010 VC in the OC and OCTANe Innovation Showcase event in Irvine, CA. ENGlobal Corp ENG climbed 1.37% to $2.96 in the pre-market session. ENG announced that it will provide front-end engineering and design services to a Denver, Colorado based private natural gas storage developer Merchant Energy Partners LLC for the "East Cheyenne Project." Qiagen NV QGEN moved up 0.72% to $21.06 in pre-market trading. QGEN’s adjusted EPS for Q1 2010 exceeded the guidance. ASML Holding NV ASML gained 0.67% to $28.71 in the pre-market session.
