Live Cattle Futures Little Changed

April live cattle is trading at 115.70, up 0.22 cents/lb. June live cattle is trading at 105.75, up 0.22 cents/lb Live cattle futures are trading steady to higher just after the open. Market chatter about consumer demand and cash prices is making the rounds. Thursday's USDA cattle slaughter was 113,000 head, the total for the week is now 450,000 head versus a year ago at 394,000 head.
