Shares of Carriage Services CSV gained about 1.4% after the company declared a quarterly dividend of $0.025 per share. Shares of Healthcare Services Group Inc HCSG dropped about 4.2% after the group reported a 13% rise in its second-quarter net income. HCSG reported its quarterly earnings at $9.8 million, or $0.15 per share, up from $8.7 million, or $0.13 per share, in the year-ago period. Its revenue climbed about 10% to $211.5 million. Analysts were expecting earnings of $0.15 per share on revenue of $214 million. The company also declared a regular quarterly cash dividend of 15.9 cents per share. UK retailer Marks & Spencer Group PLC MAKSF reported that its total group sales, excluding value added tax, increased 3.2% in its fiscal first quarter. The group's comparable UK sales rose 1.7%. Analysts were expecting a 1.5% rise in same-store sales.
