A Peek Into The Market Before The Trading Starts

Pre-open movers US stock futures are lower this morning. Futures on the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 87 points to 12,365.00 and futures on the S&P 500 stock index fell 10 points to 1,304.50. Nasdaq 100 futures dipped 19.75 points to 2,335.75. A Peek Into Global Markets Asian markets ended lower, with Australia's S&P/ASX 200 moving down 0.06% and China's Shanghai Composite dropping 0.12%. Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index fell 0.3229% and India's Sensex declined 0.41%. European markets were lower today. The STOXX Europe 600 Index has dipped 1.18%, London's FTSE 100 Index moved down 1.13%, German DAX 30 index fell 1.25% and France CAC 40 index fell 1.46%. Broker Recommendation Analysts at Morgan Stanley downgraded Scripps Networks Interactive Inc SNI from “overweight” to “equal-weight.” The target price for SNI has been lowered from $60 to $55.
