Vodafone Reports 3.5% Increase In Q1 Revenue, Confirms Full-Year Forecast

Vodafone Group PLC VOD reported a 3.5% rise in its revenue for the first quarter. Vodafone's revenue surged to 11.67 billion pounds ($19 billion). Its revenue climbed 2.3% on an organic basis. Group service revenue gained 2.6% to GBP10.86 billion, and rose 1.5% on an organic basis. Vodafone also confirmed its forecast for the full year. Vodafone shares gained 1.17% to $26.75 in pre-market trading.
