Omnicare Offers To Acquire PharMerica For $441M; PharMerica Shares Jump In Pre-Market

Omnicare Inc OCR offered to buy PharMerica Corp PMC for $441 million in cash. The offer of $15 per share represents a 37% premium to PharMerica's closing price on Monday. The transaction will be worth around $716 million, including PharMerica's net debt. OCR shares gained 3.53% to $27.85 in pre-market trading, while PMC shares jumped 37.69% to $15.05 in pre-market trading.
