U.S. stock futures traded lower this morning. Here are some big stocks recording gains in today’s pre-market trading session.

• Veris Residential, Inc. VRE shares rose 18% to $14.65 in pre-market trading. Kushner Cos. offered to acquire Veris Residential for $16 per share, the Wall Street Journal reported.
• Calliditas Therapeutics AB CALT rose 13.3% to $13.04 in pre-market trading after dipping 15% on Thursday.
• Nurix Therapeutics, Inc. NRIX gained 6.6% to $11.70 in pre-market trading. Morgan Stanley recently initiated coverage on Nurix Therapeutics with an Equal-Weight rating and announced a price target of $11.
• Cinemark Holdings, Inc. CNK climbed 6.6% to $9.75 in pre-market trading.
• Stem, Inc. STEM gained 4.7% to $12.20 in pre-market trading. Stem is expected to hold a conference call on Thursday, November 3, 2022 to discuss its Q3 financial results.
• CSX Corporation CSX gained 3.2% to $27.95 in pre-market trading as the company posted better-than-expected results for its third quarter.
