The President Said What? New Report Portrays Joe Biden As A Furious Foul-Mouthed Leader

A new report is bursting the bubble on Joe Biden's public image as a soft and gentle leader.

Several sources close to the president have come out to say the calm temper the president portrays in public routinely turns into outbursts of rage behind closed doors.

The report could have consequences in the 2024 presidential election, as most of the electorate want neither Trump nor Biden in the ballot.

Current and former aides to Mr. Biden told Axios that the president often displays bursts of fury which include curse words. Biden's common outbursts include phrases like “Don’t f***ing bulls**t me!” the aides said.

In recent years, and especially since becoming president, Biden has cultivated the image of a centered and wise octogenarian. Typically, he uses a soft voice in his public speeches, and shows a tranquil and serene personality when appearing in public.

Despite a past reputation for occasional slips in his public speeches, Biden’s current public image sharply contrasts with the characteristics that distinguished him as a politician for most of his career. Over his 36-year stretch in the U.S. Senate, Biden was recognized for his forceful, persuasive, and eloquent manner of speaking.

Either through coaching or as a mere product of aging, Biden’s public demeanor has become more gentle. However, it appears his robust, quick-witted personality hasn’t disappeared but is instead reserved for private meetings.

The report indicates that Biden’s assertive demeanor has prompted his aides to take special measures to prevent solo meetings with him, such as involving another person in their discussions.

The recent report doesn’t uncover new information, but rather validates what was already known about President Biden. Back in 2021, The NY Times detailed Biden’s propensity for a “short fuse”.

These bursts of temper are allegedly targeted at all staff, irrespective of their position or seniority. As one administration official put it, “no one is safe” when in a meeting with the president.

Author and journalist Chris Whipple, who penned the book “The Fight of His Life: Inside Joe Biden's White House,” confirmed the statements to Axios.

Whipple got to spend time in the Oval Office with Biden and his aides and said, “there’s no question that the Biden temper is for real.”

While Biden's opposition might be tempted to categorize these outbursts as the product of a declining mental health due to old age, the report states that Biden's temper "comes in the form of angry interrogations rather than erratic tantrums."

Aides have referred to being yelled at by the president as a rite of passage, and something that everybody needs to experience in order to become part of Biden's inner circle.

They said his rage is a product of his high expectations for his staff. Biden routinely grills his aides during briefings to make sure that they have all the information he needs to receive.

According to FiveThirtyEight's approval tracker, a higher percentage of Americans have expressed disapproval of Biden compared to those who have expressed approval since late 2021. The current figures indicate that 40% of Americans approve of the president, while 54% disapprove.
