Elon Musk, the owner of X (formerly Twitter), expressed his approval of Apple Inc. AAPL CEO Tim Cook’s defense for continuing to advertise on X, amid allegations from the Anti-Defamation League (ADL).
What Happened: Musk tweeted, “Tim Cook gets it” in response to Cook’s comments during an interview with CBS News.
Cook, in the interview, said, "It's something we constantly ask ourselves. Twitter is an important property. I like the concept that it's there for discourse, and there is a town square.”
However, further along in the interview, he also condemned anti-semitism, something that Musk-owned X has been accused of propagating recently.
