U.S. stock futures traded lower this morning on Thursday. Here are some big stocks recording losses in today’s pre-market trading session.
- Rentokil Initial plc RTO shares dipped 12.9% to $31.09 in pre-market trading. The company said it now sees North America’s annual adjusted operating margin in the range of 18.5% to 19%, versus its earlier forecast of around 19.5%.
- VMware, Inc. VMW shares declined 6.8% to $155.00 in pre-market trading. China's State Administration of Market Regulation is likely to delay approving Broadcom’s purchase of VMware, the Financial Times reported.
- Ardelyx, Inc. ARDX shares fell 6.7% to $3.65 in pre-market trading. Ardelyx shares gained over 13% on Wednesday after the company announced the FDA approved XPHOZAH.
- Tesla, Inc. TSLA shares declined 5.3% to $229.83 in pre-market trading as the company reported weaker-than-expected earnings and sales results for its third quarter. The company also said Cybertruck began pilot production in the third quarter at Gigafactory Texas, with deliveries anticipated for November 2023.
- Rollins, Inc. ROL shares fell 5.3% to $34.01 in pre-market trading. Rollins is expected to release its third quarter financial results after the market closes on Oct. 25, 2023.
- Foot Locker, Inc. FL shares declined 5.2% to $20.81 in pre-market trading.
- Iovance Biotherapeutics, Inc IOVA shares fell 5.1% to $3.17 in pre-market trading after declining 8% on Wednesday.
- Nokia Oyj NOK shares slipped 4.4% to $3.24 in pre-market trading after the company reported downbeat quarterly results and announced plans to cut up to 14,000 jobs to lower costs.
- Aehr Test Systems AEHR shares declined 3.1% to $32.00 in pre-market trading after falling 10% on Wednesday.
