OnePlus has unveiled its priciest handset to date, the OnePlus Open, which boasts superior features and undercuts rival foldable phones in cost.

The OnePlus Open, the first foldable phone from the company, features a big bright screen with both its main foldable display and cover screen reaching 2,800 nits of brightness, overshadowing the Pixel Fold’s 1,450 nits.
The phone has a 7.82-inch foldable display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a similarly equipped cover display, making it a worthy rival to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5.
It also includes a triple-lens camera, a 48MP main sensor, a 48MP ultra-wide, a 64MP telephoto, and a 20MP selfie camera.

Other notable specifications include a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, 16GB of RAM, and a 4,805mAh battery that supports 67W charging.
The OnePlus Open, available in Emerald Dusk and Voyager Black, has been priced at $1,699 for 512GB of storage, thus undercutting the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and the Google Pixel Fold despite its high-end features.
