Varex Imaging Reports Weak Sales, Joins Alcon, XPeng And Other Big Stocks Moving Lower In Wednesday's Pre-Market Session

U.S. stock futures traded higher this morning on Wednesday, with the Dow Jones futures gaining more than 90 points this morning.

Shares of Varex Imaging Corporation VREX dipped in pre-market trading after the company reported worse-than-expected fourth-quarter revenue results and issued guidance.

Varex posted adjusted earnings of 45 cents per share, versus estimates of 35 cents per share. The company’s quarterly revenue came in at $227 million, missing expectations of $232.33 million.

The company said it sees first-quarter adjusted EPS of $0.00-$0.20 on revenue of $180 million to $200 million.

Varex Imaging shares declined 10.9% to $17.30 in pre-market trading

Here are some other big stocks recording losses in today’s pre-market trading session.

  • reAlpha Tech Corp. AIRE shares dipped 14.2% to $10.30 in pre-market trading after jumping around 104% on Tuesday. ReAlpha Tech Corp began trading on the Nasdaq under the symbol AIRE on Oct. 23 and is an early-stage company that develops and utilizes its artificial intelligence technology stack to enable retail investors to invest in short-term rental properties.
  • Energizer Holdings, Inc. ENR shares fell 6.3% to $33.83 in pre-market trading after gaining 7% on Tuesday. Energizer recently posted upbeat quarterly results.
  • Ispire Technology Inc. ISPR shares declined 5% to $15.48 in pre-market trading after jumping over 50% on Tuesday. The company reported a narrower loss for its first quarter.
  • Alcon Inc. ALC fell 4.3% to $71.75 in pre-market trading after the company reported weak third-quarter sales and narrowed its full-year forecast.
  • Intapp, Inc. INTA shares declined 3.3% to $39.42 in pre-market trading. Intapp announced launch of underwritten secondary offering of aggregate of 5 million shares by selling stockholders.
  • XPeng Inc. XPEV fell 2.5% to $16.58 in pre-market trading following third-quarter results.
