U.S. stock futures were mixed this morning, with the Dow futures falling around 50 points on Friday.

Shares of Scholastic Corporation SCHL fell sharply in today's pre-market trading following weaker-than-expected fourth-quarter results.

Scholastic reported quarterly earnings of $1.73 per share which missed the analyst consensus estimate of $2.66 per share. Quarterly sales came in at $474.9 million which missed the analyst consensus estimate of $552.496 million, according to data from Benzinga Pro.

Scholastic shares dipped 11.9% to $32.21 in the pre-market trading session.
