On a non-GAAP basis, the company's earnings came in at $619 million, or $0.47 per share. The company's revenue surged 16% to $2.55 billion. However, analysts expected earnings of $0.46 per share on revenue of $2.48 billion. The company projected Q2 earnings of $0.45 to $0.46 per share, on revenue of $2.55 billion to $2.65 billion. However, analysts expected Q2 earnings of $0.46 per share on revenue of $2.52 billion. EBAY shares rose 0.18% to $34.09 in the after-hours trading session. Analysts are expecting Microsoft Corp MSFT to have earned $0.56 per share on revenue of $16.20 billion in the fiscal third quarter. MSFT shares gained 0.19% to $26.43 in after-hours trading. Exelon Corp EXC is near a deal to acquire Constellation Energy Group Inc CEG for around $7.7 billion, sources familiar with the matter said.
