Electronic Arts Inc ERTS announced its plans to buy PopCap Games for at least $750 million. EA will pay $650 million in cash and $100 million in common shares. EA also issued downbeat Q2 projections. ERTS shares dropped 3.27% to $23.38 in after-hours trading.
Wall Street expects Yum! Brands Inc YUM to report its Q2 EPS at $0.61 on revenue of $2.70 billion. YUM shares gained 0.83% to $55.69 in the after-hours trading session.
Healthcare Services Group Inc HCSG reported a 13% rise in its second-quarter net income. HCSG reported its quarterly earnings at $9.8 million, or $0.15 per share, up from $8.7 million, or $0.13 per share, in the year-ago period. Its revenue climbed about 10% to $211.5 million. Analysts were expecting earnings of $0.15 per share on revenue of $214 million. The company also declared a regular quarterly cash dividend of 15.9 cents per share. HCSG shares fell 0.11% to $17.55 in the after-hours trading session.
Analysts expect Marriot International MAR to report its Q2 EPS at $0.37 on revenue of $3.02 billion. MAR shares rose 0.35% to $36.95 in the after-hours trading session.
UDR Inc UDR raised its projections for full-year funds from operations. UDR agreed to pay $687 million for two home communities in New York and one in Washington D.C. UDR also announced its plans to sell 15 million shares in a public offering. UDR shares dipped 2.62% to $24.89 in after-hours trading.
