Stocks To Watch For October 4, 2012

Some of the stocks that may grab investor focus today are: Wall Street expects International Speedway ISCA to report its Q3 earnings at $0.08 per share on revenue of $127.35 million. International Speedway shares gained 0.53% to $28.60 in after-hours trading. Marriott International MAR swung to a profit in the third quarter. Marriott shares surged 2.05% to $39.80 in the after-hours trading session. Many retailers will report same-store sales results for September. Retailers set to release sales include Macy's M, Walgreen Co WAG, Target TGT, Ross Stores ROST, Gap GPS, Saks Inc. SKS, Nordstrom JWN, Costco Wholesale COST, Kohl's KSS. NuVasive NUVA lowered its third-quarter sales forecast. NuVasive shares tumbled 26.97% to $16.52 in the after-hours trading session. Applied Materials AMAT announced its plans to lower 6% to 9% of its total workforce. Applied Materials shares rose 0.45% to $11.21 in after-hours trading.
