  • Wall Street expects Dollar General Corp. DG to report quarterly earnings at $1.42 per share on revenue of $5.97 billion before the opening bell. Dollar General shares fell 0.59 percent to $72.38 in after-hours trading.
  • Tesla Inc TSLA announced that the company is raising $1.15 billion by offering $250 million of common stock and $750 million of convertible senior notes that will be due in 2022. It was also announced that Elon Musk will purchase $25 million of common stock. Tesla shares gained 2.07 percent to $261.03 in the after-hours trading session.
  • Analysts expect Cato Corp CATO to report a quarterly loss at $0.52 per share on revenue of $221.40 million before the opening bell. Cato shares rose 1.19 percent to close at $22.98 on Wednesday.
  • Oracle Corporation ORCL reported better-than-expected earnings for its third quarter and raised its quarterly dividend to $0.19 per share. Oracle shares surged 5.92 percent to $45.60 in the after-hours trading session.
  • GoPro Inc GPRO disclosed that that the company will be cutting jobs and expects to be profitable on an adjusted basis in 2017. GoPro plans to cut 270 jobs, equating to 17 percent of its workforce. GoPro shares climbed 8.84 percent to $8.00 in the after-hours trading session.

  • After the closing bell, Caleres Inc CAL is projected to post its quarterly earnings at $0.38 per share on revenue of $631.23 million. Caleres shares rose 2.12 percent to close at $31.32 on Wednesday.
  • Jabil Circuit, Inc. JBL posted upbeat earnings for its second quarter on Wednesday. Jabil Circuit shares fell 1.78 percent to $26.50 in the after-hours trading session.
  • Analysts are expecting Adobe Systems Incorporated ADBE to have earned $0.87 per share on revenue of $1.65 billion in the latest quarter. Adobe will release earnings after the markets close. Adobe shares gained 0.02 percent to $122.13 in after-hours trading.
  • Guess?, Inc. GES reported weaker-than-expected results for its fourth quarter on Wednesday. Guess? shares dipped 12.51 percent to $10.70 in the after-hours trading session.
  • Williams-Sonoma, Inc. WSM posted upbeat earnings for its fourth quarter and lifted quarterly dividend by 5 percent. Williams-Sonoma shares gained 3.39 percent to $49.75 in the after-hours trading session.
