- Alphabet Inc GOOG posted upbeat earnings for its first quarter on Thursday. Alphabet shares surged 4 percent to $909.25 in the after-hours trading session.
- Analysts expect Colgate-Palmolive Company CL to report quarterly earnings at $0.66 per share on revenue of $3.78 billion before the opening bell. Colgate-Palmolive shares declined 0.34 percent to $73.05 in after-hours trading.
- Microsoft Corporation MSFT reported better-than-expected earnings for its first quarter, but slightly missed revenue expectations. Microsoft shares declined 0.45 percent to $67.96 in the after-hours trading session.
- Before the opening bell, Phillips 66 PSX is estimated to report quarterly earnings at $0.36 per share on revenue of $28.14 billion. Phillips 66 shares dropped 0.45 percent to $77.70 in after-hours trading.

- Intel Corporation INTC reported upbeat earnings for its first quarter, but sales missed estimates. Intel shares dropped 3.55 percent to $36.10 in the after-hours trading session.
- Analysts are expecting Chevron Corporation CVX to have earned $0.92 per share on revenue of $34.79 billion in the latest quarter. Chevron will release earnings before the markets open. Chevron shares declined 0.16 percent to $105.30 in after-hours trading.
- Starbucks Corporation SBUX posted in-line earnings for its first quarter, but sales missed expectations. The company also lowered its FY17 earnings outlook. Starbucks shares declined 4.73 percent to $58.40 in the after-hours trading session.
- Before the markets open, Exxon Mobil Corporation XOM is projected to report quarterly earnings at $0.89 per share on revenue of $67.90 billion. Exxon Mobil shares slipped 0.07 percent to $81.20 in after-hours trading.
- GoPro Inc GPRO reported upbeat revenue for its first quarter and issued a strong sales forecast for the current quarter. GoPro shares slipped 0.78 percent to $8.87 in the after-hours trading session.
- Western Digital Corp WDC posted better-than-expected earnings for its third quarter and issued a strong forecast for the current quarter. Western Digital shares climbed 7 percent to $91.71 in the after-hours trading session.
