Pfizer, Eli Lilly And 3 Stocks To Watch Heading Into Tuesday

With US stock futures trading higher this morning on Tuesday, some of the stocks that may grab investor focus today are as follows:

  • Wall Street expects Pfizer Inc. PFE to report quarterly earnings at $1.47 per share on revenue of $21.37 billion before the opening bell. Pfizer shares gained 0.5% to $46.76 in after-hours trading.
  • BP plc BP reported better-than-expected profit for its third quarter and disclosed plans to buy back $2.5 billion of shares. BP shares gained 0.4% to close at $33.28 on Monday.
  • Analysts are expecting Eli Lilly and Company LLY to have earned $1.92 per share on revenue of $6.91 billion for the latest quarter. The company will release earnings before the markets open. Eli Lilly shares gained 0.3% to $363.00 in after-hours trading.

  • Sony Group Corporation SONY said its overall group operating profit climbed 8% to 344 billion yen ($2.32 billion) during the second quarter, exceeding market expectations. However, profit at its key gaming segment dropped 50% year-over-year last quarter. Sony shares dropped 0.6% to close at $67.47 on Monday.
  • Analysts expect Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. AMD to post quarterly earnings at $0.74 per share on revenue of $5.82 billion after the closing bell. AMD shares gained 0.2% to $60.20 in after-hours trading.
