Walmart, Cisco And 3 Stocks To Watch Heading Into Thursday

With U.S. stock futures trading mixed this morning on Thursday, some of the stocks that may grab investor focus today are as follows:

  • Wall Street expects Walmart Inc. WMT to post quarterly earnings at $1.70 per share on revenue of $160.19 billion before the opening bell. Walmart shares gained 1.1% to $160.93 in after-hours trading.
  • Cisco Systems, Inc. CSCO reported better-than-expected fourth-quarter financial results, but issued weak revenue forecast for the year. Cisco shares gained 2.1% to $54.07 in the after-hours trading session.
  • Analysts are expecting Tapestry, Inc. TPR to have earned 97 cents per share on revenue of $1.65 billion for the latest quarter. The company will release earnings before the markets open. Tapestry shares rose 1.9% to $34.99 in after-hours trading.

  • Synopsys, Inc. SNPS reported upbeat earnings for its third quarter. The company announced that Sassine Ghazi will become CEO effective Jan. 1 and current CEO Aart de Geus will transition to the role of executive chair. Synopsys shares gained 2.2% to $437.64 in the after-hours trading session.
  • Analysts expect Applied Materials, Inc. AMAT to report quarterly earnings at $1.74 per share on revenue of $6.16 billion after the closing bell. Applied Materials shares slipped 0.1% to $138.21 in after-hours trading.
