MiMedx Group shares dipped 9.37% to $10.45 in the after-hours trading session. Shares of NephroGenex, Inc. NRX jumped 187.10% on Wednesday after the company reported positive results for QT study of Pyridorin. NephroGenex shares slipped 3% to $12.95 in after-hours trading. General Motors Co GM reported that it has redeemed all 156.1 million outstanding shares of its Series A Preferred Stock. The company will take around $0.8 billion charge in the fourth quarter of 2014 for redemption of shares. General Motors shares slipped 0.23% to $34.83 in the after-hours trading session. Shares of Meadowbrook Insurance Group Inc. MIG climbed 18.65% on Wednesday after the company agreed to be acquired by Fosun International Limited FOSUF for $8.65 per share in cash. Meadowbrook Insurance shares closed at $8.46 on Wednesday. LSB Industries Inc. LXU reported that on December 28, 2014, its chemical plant facility in Cherokee, Alabama resumed production. LSB Industries declined 1.04% to close at $31.44 on Wednesday.
