Four ETFs For Cyber Monday

It's here. Black Friday's kissing cousin Cyber Monday, the day when legions of shoppers allegedly sit eagerly at their computers hunting for the best online bargains for this holiday shopping season. By all indications, this should be a robust Cyber Monday. Black Friday stats look good as the average shopper spent 6.4% more over the Thanksgiving weekend than he or she spent last year, according to Bloomberg News. Shopping traffic on Black Friday itself was up 2.2%, Bloomberg reported, and it appears the U.S. consumer is nothing if not cheery and resilient. With that, here are some ETFs for Cyber Monday. 1) Internet HOLDRs HHH: HOLDRs ETFs are usually a pain because they're weighted heavily to just one or two stocks, but that's useful today for investors looking for an ETF play on Amazon.com AMZN, perhaps the king of Cyber Monday plays. Amazon accounts for over 43% of this ETF. Don't forget eBay EBAY, which accounts for more than 20% of HHH's weight. 2) Retail HOLDRs RTH: Amazon, Home Depot HD and Wal-Mart WMT account for roughly 43% of this fund's weight. Enough said. 3) SPDR Morgan Stanley Technology ETF MTK: Apple AAPL, Amazon, eBay, oh my. We have ourselves a Cyber Monday in this light volume ETF. 4) iShares Dow Jones Transportation Average IYT: Someone, namely FedEx FDX and UPS UPS has to ship all those orders that Amazon and eBay receive and that makes IYT a Cyber Monday play despite a distinct lack of high tech names.
