Morning Gap Ups (TTWO, ZQK, RIMM, RF, CBS)

There are a slew of names gapping up this morning, for a variety of reasons that you should be aware of. In reaction to strong earnings or guidance Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. TTWO is up over 8% this morning after the video game maker reported much better than expected earnings and it raised guidance as well. Quiksilver, Inc. ZQK is up 3.6% on news that it was upgraded to Neutral from Underweight at Piper Jaffray. Research in Motion RIMM is up 2% after the Blackberry maker reported better than expected earnings, and raised its outlook for its next quarter. Select financial related names are being boosted by the news that BMO BMO is buying Marsall & Isley MI for $7.75 per share. Regions Financial RF, and Zions Bancorp ZION are shooting higher on the merger news, up around 6% and 4%, respectively. CBS Corporation CBS is up around 2% after the stock was upgraded at a tier 1 firm.
