Futures have given up all of their pre-market gains this morning, as earnings reports from Wal-Mart WMT and Hewlett-Packard HPQ missed estimates, citing weakened consumers, and rising commodity costs.
At last check, Dow futures were up 4 points, NASDAQ futures were down 0.5 point, and S&P 500 futures were flat. This is well off the highs of the pre-market session, when Dow futures were up 40+ points.
