Nalco Holding up Nearly 31% Pre-Market on Merger with Ecolab

Nalco Holding NLC is up nearly 31% pre-market on the merger agreement with Ecolab ECL. Under the terms of the agreement Nalco's shareholders may elect to receive either 0.7005 share of Ecolab common stock per share of Nalco common stock or $38.80 in cash, without interest, per share of Nalco common stock. Nalco Holding is currently trading at $37.73 pre-market, a gain of 30.69%.
