Benzinga Pro's Top 5 Stocks To Watch For Fri., Apr. 24, 2020: GILD, DKNG, FFIV, ADC, SGMS

Today's 5 Stock Ideas:

  • Gilead (GILD) - One of the most important stocks on Wall Street right now. Shares fell sharply Thursday (bringing down the entire stock market too) after a report suggested a trial for the company's remdesivir, one of the earliest coronavirus treatments which showed potential, was stopped early in China due to low enrollment. Some have defended the name, including CNBC's Jim Cramer, who said, "I do not believe this Gilead news. It is from the Chinese trials... This is not from Gilead."
  • DraftKings (DKNG) - A play on sports/fantasy betting. Today marks DraftKings' first day of trade as a public company. In pre-market action, the stock traded between $20 and $22.
  • F5 Networks (FFIV) - An earnings play. The company will report quarterly results after the close Monday, Apr. 27.
  • Agree Realty (ADC) - A play on the lowest-cost REIT in the real estate space. Company CEO Joey Agree appeared on Benzinga's PreMarket Prep morning trading show Thursday and also noted the company has the second-least levered balance sheet in the space.
  • Scientific Games (SGMS) - A play on the lottery. Despite the coronavirus pandemic, the company has announced six new lotto-related contracts so far in 2020, with four of those contracts announced in April.
