Alibaba Group Holding Ltd ADR (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/BABA#NYSE">BABA</a>), a Chinese multinational technology company led by Jack Ma, saw huge inflows from U.S.-based funds during the fourth quarter. However, many Asian funds exited the company despite its progress in the artificial intelligence arena.
What Happened: As U.S. institutional investors loaded up on BABA, Asian funds did not seem to place big bets on the firm during the fourth quarter. However, these 13F filings represent the last quarter of 2024, which was ahead of the BABA&#8217;s nearly 50% year-to-date performance in 2025, propelled by the launch of its flagship AI model, Qwen2.5-Max.
As of the fourth quarter, about 1,263 holders owned 324 million shares in the company, valued at $27.4 billion.

Energy Transfer LP (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/ET#NYSE">ET</a>) today announced the pricing of its offering of $650 million aggregate principal amount of 5.200% senior notes due 2030, $1.250 billion aggregate principal amount of 5.700% senior notes due 2035 and $1.100 billion aggregate principal amount of 6.200% senior notes due 2055 (together, the "senior notes") at prices to the public of 99.796%, 99.872% and 99.398%, respectively, of their face value.
The sale of the senior notes is expected to settle on March 4, 2025, subject to the satisfaction of customary closing conditions.
