Puckrin noted that on-chain data reveals whales are accumulating Bitcoin, signaling a potential rebound.

Starting April 2025, patients suffering from chronic pain will have greater access to medical marijuana, according to a new decree from the Ministry of Health. Under the expanded access, general practitioners (GPs) in the country will be allowed to prescribe medical marijuana to registered patients with chronic pain, <a href="https://www.expats.cz/czech-news/article/czechia-takes-step-towards-laxer-cannabis-laws-with-new-bill">writes</a> Expats.
Ministry spokesperson Ondřej Jakob <a href="https://www.novinky.cz/clanek/domaci-ministerstvo-ustupuje-poptavce-po-konopi-na-bolest-ho-nove-predepisou-i-praktici-40498698">confirmed </a>to news outlets Novinky and Právo that the new rules are designed to simplify access."The decree allows GPs to prescribe medicinal cannabis for chronic, intractable pain."
Under the current law, only specialized doctors can prescribe cannabis, which is limiting for many patients. According to official data, roughly 8,000 people in the country use cannabis legally, but the demand is much higher. The National Drug Monitoring Center recently revealed results of its survey showing that about 600,000 Czechs use medical marijuana, and more than a million have tried it for self-treatment this year.
"It doesn't make sense that we can prescribe strong opiates like morphine but not medical cannabis," Dr. Petr Šonka, chairman of the Czech Association of General Practitioners, told Novinky. Šonka further stressed the importance of managing pain for terminal patients.
Furthermore, under the new rules, prescriptions will be valid for up to three months, and insurance will still cover 90% of the expense for up to 30 grams of marijuana per month. Coverage for cannabis extracts will also be expanded.

The expanded medical marijuana access follows up on the Czech <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/cannabis/24/11/42043465/czech-government-legalizes-cultivation-of-three-cannabis-plants-allows-possession-of-50-grams">government's proposal</a> of a draft law that would reform&nbsp;criminal law regarding cannabis, with changes including relaxed rules on&nbsp;home cultivation and possession. The draft law now needs to be viewed by both chambers of Parliament.

Apple is reportedly changing its approach to software updates. The tech giant appears to be opting for staggered rollouts of new features instead of bundling everything into annual iOS releases.
In his latest weekly &#8220;Power On&#8221; newsletter, Bloomberg columnist Mark Gurman said that Cupertino plans a significant update with iOS 18.4 <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/24/11/42183616/apple-could-delay-key-ios-19-features-plans-shifting-to-staggered-rollouts-with-2026-siri-overhaul-and-more">this spring</a>.
With the recent buzz around Apple, some investors may be eyeing potential gains from the company's dividends too. As of now, Apple offers an annual dividend yield of 0.43%, which is a quarterly dividend amount of 25 cents per share ($1.00 a year).
So, how can investors exploit its dividend yield to pocket a regular $500 monthly?
To earn $500 per month or $6,000 annually from dividends alone, you would need an investment of approximately $1,410,360 or around 6,000 shares. For a more modest $100 per month or $1,200 per year, you would need $282,072 or around 1,200 shares.
To calculate: Divide the desired annual income ($6,000 or $1,200) by the dividend ($1.00 in this case). So, $6,000 / $1.00 = 6,000 ($500 per month), and $1,200 / $1.00 = 1,200 shares ($100 per month).
Note that dividend yield can change on a rolling basis, as the dividend payment and the stock price both fluctuate over time.
How that works: The dividend yield is computed by dividing the annual dividend payment by the stock&#8217;s current price.
For example, if a stock pays an annual dividend of $2 and is currently priced at $50, the dividend yield would be 4% ($2/$50). However, if the stock price increases to $60, the dividend yield drops to 3.33% ($2/$60). Conversely, if the stock price falls to $40, the dividend yield rises to 5% ($2/$40).
Similarly, changes in the dividend payment can impact the yield. If a company increases its dividend, the yield will also increase, provided the stock price stays the same. Conversely, if the dividend payment decreases, so will the yield.
AAPL Price Action: Shares of Apple gained 0.9% to close at $235.06 on Tuesday.

How To Earn $500 A Month From Apple Stock

Iris Energy Ltd (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/IREN#NASDAQ">IREN</a>) shares are trading higher Wednesday on the heels of the company&#8217;s first-quarter financial results. Multiple analysts raised price targets following the print. Here&#8217;s what <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/pressreleases/24/11/g42201221/iren-reports-q1-fy25-results">you need to know</a>.
What Happened: After the market close on Tuesday, Iris reported first-quarter Bitcoin (CRYPTO: <a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/btc/usd">BTC</a>) mining revenue of $49.6 million. The company reported a 28% increase in AI Cloud Services revenue quarter-over-quarter to $3.2 million. 
Adjusted EBITDA was $2.6 million in the quarter. The company said it mined 813 bitcoin in the period and ended the quarter with $98.6 million in cash and cash equivalents. Iris noted that it had $182.4 million in cash as of Oct. 31.
&#8220;We are pleased to report our Q1 FY25 results and reiterate our focus on low-cost Bitcoin mining, operating cashflows and shareholder returns,&#8221; said Daniel Roberts, co-founder and co-CEO of Iris Energy.
&#8220;We are just weeks away from achieving our 31 EH/s milestone and are excited to announce the acceleration of our growth trajectory to 50 EH/s in H1 2025, which was previously H2 2025.&#8221;
Iris said it had 21 EH/s installed in the quarter and remains on track to achieve 31 EH/s in December. The company currently has an all-in cash cost per bitcoin of approximately $29,000. Bitcoin was hovering around $94,000 at the time of publication, per <a href="http://pro.benzinga.com">Benzinga Pro</a>.
Following the company&#8217;s quarterly results, Canaccord Genuity analyst Joseph Vafi maintained Iris with a Buy and raised the price target from $15 to $17. HC Wainwright &amp; Co. analyst Mike Colonnese maintained a <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/analyst-stock-ratings">Buy rating</a> and raised the price target from $13 to $16, and Needham analyst John Todaro reiterated a Hold rating.
