<p>There are some sectors poised for gains that investors should keep on their radars. These sectors could grow as much as 20 times. Furthermore, I believe that this is a conservative estimate based on analyst projections.</p>



<p>I think that these sectors are relatively untapped. Some are more well-known and the growth story is obvious. While other sectors poised for gains are quietly flying under the radar, ready for investors to embrace them.</p>



<p>There are also industries and subsectors in this list that could be more accretive for investors than others. However, gaining 20 times or more involves considerable risk and speculation. Having said that, that door is also open for investors who have a suitable risk tolerance.</p>



<p>So here are three sectors poised for gains that could potentially mint new millionaires. I advise investors to have at least a small allocation to these. This is in order to improve their risk-adjusted returns and total returns.</p>



<h2>Renewable Energy</h2>

I feel that despite this sector being an obvious growth sector, the companies within it trade at low valuations. There is great upside potential here.</p>



<p>Some companies to consider in this sector include <strong>First Solar</strong> (NASDAQ:<span><a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/fslr-stock-quote/"><strong>FSLR</strong></a></span>), <strong>Brookfield Renewable Partners</strong> (NYSE:<span><a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/bep-stock-quote/"><strong>BEP</strong></a></span>), or <strong>NextEra Energy</strong> (NYSE:<span><a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/nee-stock-quote/"><strong>NEE</strong></a></span>). These brands have suffered from some short-term headwinds (particularly in Europe). However, these are gearing up for a stronger 2024 and beyond.</p>



<p>As investor dollars flow to sexier investments such as robotics and AI, I think that renewable energy could come out ahead of the broader indices such as the <strong>S&amp;P 500</strong>, as well as potentially 20x in value as the market matures.</p>



<p>With more than <a href="https://www.seia.org/solar-industry-research-data">50% of all new power</a> coming to the grid in the United States from solar last year, this is a trend that will only continue to develop in the future.</p>



<h2>Information Technology</h2>

One reason of course is the explosion of AI. Companies like <strong>Microsoft</strong> (NASDAQ:<span><a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/msft-stock-quote/"><strong>MSFT</strong></a></span>) and <strong>Nvidia</strong> (NASDAQ:<span><a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/nvda-stock-quote/"><strong>NVDA</strong></a></span>) leading the charge.</p>



<p>AI, for instance, is expected to be worth <a href="https://www.sphericalinsights.com/reports/america-artificial-intelligence-ai-market">more than half a trillion dollars</a> by 2032. Who knows how far this trend will stretch into the future. There&rsquo;s also the growth of the semiconductor industry, of which many companies in the Majestic Seven will benefit.</p>



<p>While the broad indices such as the <strong>Nasdaq</strong> are unlikely to make 20 times gains, specific companies in this sector, especially small caps and <a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-types/penny-stocks/">penny stocks</a> certainly have this potential.</p>

<p>There&rsquo;s no time like the present when ridding your investment portfolio of underperforming stocks. And there are plenty of bad performers that you need to avoid if you&rsquo;re going to have a successful 2024.</p>



<p>While the market is bullish, stubbornly holding stocks to sell is the surest way to miss out on the riches you should be accumulating now. Weak-performing stocks can drag your holdings into the red before you know it.</p>

<h2>Lucid Group (LCID)</h2>

<p>To recap, Lucid entered into a <a href="https://investorplace.com/2024/03/lucid-motors-lcid-stock-pops-on-1-billion-infusion-from-saudi-pif/">subscription agreement</a> with the <strong>Public Investment Fund&rsquo;s</strong> Ayar Third Investment Company. </p>



<p>In a private placement, Ayar will give Lucid $1 billion in exchange for 10,000 Series A convertible preferred shares.</p>



<p>The deal should help Lucid scale and grow. However, it also seriously dilutes LCID stock, as the preferred shares will represent 278.15 million shares of Lucid, roughly 12% of the company&rsquo;s issued and outstanding shares.</p>



<p>Lucid needs to scale because it delivered only 6,000 vehicles in 2023. But as an investor, I&rsquo;m not on board and adding it to my list of stocks to sell. Even with this month&rsquo;s turnaround, LCID stock is down nearly 30% in 2024 and it still warrants an &ldquo;F&rdquo; rating in the Portfolio Grader.</p>



<h2>Plug Power (PLUG)</h2>

<p>But the process isn&rsquo;t cost-effective and Plug still hasn&rsquo;t figured out how to make money, which is why it&rsquo;s among the stocks to sell while you can. <a href="https://s29.q4cdn.com/600973483/files/doc_financials/2023/q3/3Q23-Investor-Letter-w-tables-11-9-2023-FINAL1-LOAD.pdf">Third-quarter earnings</a> of $198.7 million, but the company lost $283.4 million and 47 cents per share, which was worse than a year ago when it lost $170.7 million and 30 cents per share.</p>



<p>Plug is getting a boost from the U.S. Department of Energy, which is spending <a href="https://investorplace.com/2024/03/plug-stock-chuck-schumer-just-announced-a-75-million-boost-to-plug-power/">$75.7 million</a> to help Plug develop its facilities. Plug is also reportedly working on to secure a <a href="https://www.reuters.com/markets/commodities/plug-power-starts-liquid-green-hydrogen-production-2024-01-23/">$1.6 billion loan facility</a> with the U.S. government to help it with its liquidity issues. But I don&rsquo;t think it&rsquo;s enough for the long term.</p>



<p>PLUG stock is down 23% in 2024 and gets an &ldquo;F&rdquo; rating in the Portfolio Grader.</p>



<h2>Himax Technologies (HIMX)</h2>

HIMX stock."><div>Source: Mamat Suryadi / Shutterstock</div></div><p>Fabless semiconductor manufacturer <strong>Himax Technologies </strong>(NASDAQ:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/himx-stock-quote/"><strong>HIMX</strong></a>) proves that not every semiconductor stock is a winner in today&rsquo;s market. Generative artificial intelligence is boosting many semiconductor companies, but Himax is being left in the dust.</p>



<p>Himax designs and makes display driver integrated circuits responsible for image quality and functionality. Himax products are used in TVs, tablets and automotive displays, items that are not seeing the same demand as those that drive AI applications.</p>



<p><a href="https://www.himax.com.tw/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/HIMAX-Q4-and-Full-Year-2023-Earnings-PR-Final.pdf">Revenue in the fourth quarter</a> was $227.6 million, down from $262.2 million a year ago. Profits of $23.5 million and 13 cents per share was a steep drop from the same quarter a year ago, when Himax brought in $42.1 million and 24 cents per share.</p>



<p>HIMX stock is down 11% in 2024 and gets an &ldquo;F&rdquo; rating in the Portfolio Grader.</p>



<h2>AMC Entertainment Holdings (AMC)</h2>

But being a meme stock doesn&rsquo;t help when a company has some basic problems that will keep the stock weak for the foreseeable future.</p>



<p>A weakened movie market has battered AMC. First, there&rsquo;s the rise of streaming services, which means people are much more willing to wait a couple of months to watch it in the comfort of their homes.</p>



<p>Then there are the aftereffects of last year&rsquo;s Writers Guild of America strike, which shut down production for months. Only two films &ndash; Dune: Part Two and Kung Fu Panda 4 &ndash; have generated more than $100 million in <a href="https://www.boxofficemojo.com/year/world/2024/">domestic box office sales</a> so far this year.</p>



<p>AMC&rsquo;s long-term debt load of $4.6 billion is making lenders nervous enough to meet to consider ways to <a href="https://investorplace.com/2024/03/amc-stock-why-lenders-are-meeting-to-discuss-amcs-debt/">prop up the balance sheet</a>.</p>



<p>AMC stock is down 29% this year and gets an &ldquo;F&rdquo; rating in the Portfolio Grader.</p>



<h2>Mullen Automotive (MULN)</h2>

<p>Mullen still manages to be a penny stock, trading at less than $5 per share, despite three reverse stock splits in 2023, capped by a 1-for-100 split in December.</p>



<p>Mullen stock is down more than 99% in the last 12 months and has lost more than 60% so far in 2024. It delivered only 396 vehicles in the fourth quarter of 2023, and that was the best quarter in the company&rsquo;s history. The company reported a net loss of $61.4 million, or $15.32 per share.</p>



<p>The EV company hopes a pivot to <a href="https://news.mullenusa.com/mullen-continues-prioritization-of-commercial-evs">commercial EVs</a> will be its ticket to profitability. But if it doesn&rsquo;t work out, there&rsquo;s always the possibility of a few more stock splits to further reduce share value and artificially prop up the price, right?</p>



<p>MULN stock gets an &ldquo;F&rsquo; rating in the Portfolio Grader.</p>



<h2>Solid Power (SLDP)</h2>

Schneider / Shutterstock.com</div></div><p><strong>Solid Power</strong> (NASDAQ:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/sldp-stock-quote/"><strong>SLDP</strong></a>) develops all-solid-state battery cells, which use solid electrolytes as opposed to lithium-ion batteries that use a liquid electrolyte solution. </p>



<p>The batteries are seen as a viable alternative to lithium-ion batteries and could be used in everything from EVs to renewable energy.</p>



<p>Solid Power says its products will be safer, will provide more energy and will cost less than lithium-ion batteries. And that may be true. But the company is a growing business and is taking steep losses that aren&rsquo;t yet being realized by revenue.</p>



<p><a href="https://www.solidpowerbattery.com/investor-relations/investor-news/news-details/2024/Solid-Power-Full-Year-2023-Results-Reflect-Strong-Execution/default.aspx">Revenue in 2023</a> was $17.4 million, up from $11.7 million in 2022. But the company took losses of $65.5 million and 37 cents per share for the year, much higher than 2022 losses of $9.5 million and 5 cents per share. </p>



<p>Its 2024 outlook calls for revenue between $20 million and $25 million, while it expects to spend $100 million to $120 million on operations and capital expenditures.</p>



<p>I&rsquo;m not ready to write SLDP off. It may be a good company one day. But as an investment this spring, it&rsquo;s best to toss it to the curb and invest in a company that&rsquo;s making a profit for its shareholders.</p>



<p>SLDP stock gets an &ldquo;F&rdquo; rating in the Portfolio Grader.</p>



<h2>Pfizer (PFE)</h2>

<p>The company made a huge contribution to the planet by being one of the first companies to create an approved Covid-19 vaccination. And it was well-paid for its efforts, bringing in billions of dollars in revenue.</p>



<p>The problem with Pfizer stock today is that people aren&rsquo;t getting Covid-19 vaccinations as they were a year or two ago, so the company&rsquo;s revenues are way down. </p>



<p>Fourth-quarter revenue was $14.2 billion, but that&rsquo;s down 41% from a year ago. Income was $593 million. But that&rsquo;s down from $1.14 billion in the fourth quarter of 2022.</p>



<p>Even though it&rsquo;s one of the stocks to sell now, I think Pfizer has a good road ahead of it. The company is planning more than a dozen product launches in the next 18 months. </p>



<p>It also recently purchased Seagen, an oncology specialist, which will add four commercialized oncology products to its revenue stream.</p>



<p>But looking at PFE today, it&rsquo;s still too early to buy. PFE stock is down 3% in 2024 and gets an &ldquo;F&rdquo; rating in the Portfolio Grader.</p>

So, it&rsquo;s definitely reasonable &ndash; with some digging around &ndash; to find underappreciated gems.</p>



<p>Of course, you&rsquo;ll have to accept a higher risk profile. If you&rsquo;re okay with that, these are the most undervalued tech stocks to buy in April.</p>

It also specializes in transferring circuit patterns onto semiconductor wafers.</p>



<p>While most of the spotlight centers on the &ldquo;front-facing&rdquo; semiconductor companies like <strong>Nvidia</strong> (NASDAQ:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/nvda-stock-quote/"><strong>NVDA</strong></a>), investors should look into what goes on behind the scenes. Essentially, companies like Photronics keep the show running smoothly, making it a strong candidate for most undervalued tech stocks to buy in April.</p>



<p>Currently, PLAB stock trades at a <a href="https://www.gurufocus.com/stock/PLAB/summary?search=plab">trailing-year earnings multiple of 12.78X</a>. Also, it trades at 1.95X trailing-year revenue. Both stats are undervalued compared to their sector median values. Further, analysts project that in fiscal 2024, Photronics should enjoy decent earnings and sales growth.</p>



<p>D.A. Davidson is currently the <a href="https://www.tipranks.com/stocks/plab/forecast">only analyst</a> that covers PLAB stock, assigning a &ldquo;buy&rdquo; rating (but without a price target).</p>

The company operates in two segments: Driver IC and Non-Driver Products. Mainly, it focuses on display driver ICs and timing controllers used in televisions, laptops and automotive solutions, among many other applications.</p>



<p>Again, Himax isn&rsquo;t exactly what you call a front-facing enterprise. However, it&rsquo;s absolutely critical in the smooth running of the tech space, especially consumer electronics. Still, Wall Street isn&rsquo;t exactly giving HIMX its dues. That means right now, shares trade at a <a href="https://www.gurufocus.com/stock/HIMX/summary?search=himx">trailing-year earnings multiple of 18.72X</a>, below the sector median 32.8X.</p>



<p>On the top line, HIMX trades at only 0.98X trailing-year sales. That seems very low considering the broad relevancies. To be fair, analysts are only looking for earnings growth in fiscal 2024 while they anticipate negative growth in revenue. For top-line expansion, investors may have to wait until fiscal 2025.</p>



<p>Still, a lone analyst rates <a href="https://www.tipranks.com/stocks/himx">HIMX a buy with a $7 price target</a>. That seems more reasonable based on the underlying utility. It&rsquo;s one of the most undervalued tech stocks to buy in April.</p>



<h2>ViaSat (VSAT)</h2>

According to its <a href="https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/VSAT/profile">corporate profile</a>, ViaSat&rsquo;s Satellite Services segment offers satellite-based fixed broadband services, including broadband internet access and voice over internet protocol services to consumers and businesses. It also offers in-flight entertainment and aviation software services to commercial airlines and private business jets.</p>



<p>Undoubtedly, VSAT is one of the riskiest ideas in terms of the most undervalued tech stocks to buy in April. Since the start of the year, shares succumbed to 41% worth of red ink. In the past one-year period, it&rsquo;s down almost 52%. Still, if the economy happens to march forward, ViaSat could potentially see increased demand.</p>



<p>Here are the stats. Shares trade at a trailing-year earnings multiple of 2.18X. As for the revenue multiple, we&rsquo;re talking about 0.45X. Both stats are subterranean compared to the industry. However, the intriguing aspect is that analysts see fiscal 2024 revenue landing at $4.22 billion, up 65.3% from last year&rsquo;s print.</p>



<p>Also, they peg VSAT as a <a href="https://www.tipranks.com/stocks/vsat/forecast">moderate buy</a> with a $32.20 price target, implying 95% upside potential.</p>

But not everyone can afford to invest in the industry leader, <strong>Meta </strong>(NASDAQ:<span><a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/meta-stock-quote/"><strong>META</strong></a></span>), which is expected to rise 44% in 2024 due to indicators of a recovering digital advertising market.</p>



<p>Meta capitalized on the resumption of advertising income after unsettling 2022 and 2023. After plunging to a low in 2022, META shares have recovered by doubling its earnings in Q4 of 23 and <a href="https://investor.fb.com/investor-news/press-release-details/2024/Meta-Reports-Fourth-Quarter-and-Full-Year-2023-Results-Initiates-Quarterly-Dividend/default.aspx">paying out its first dividend</a>. </p>



<p>But one thing that appears to be lost on everyone is its metaverse business, which has lost around $50 billion. Here, Meta is going all in, and it can afford to lose.</p>



<p>To take advantage of a potentially $259 billion industry, investors would be better served by looking at three VR stocks that promise more than double-digit upside and each have their own distinct use case &mdash; whether it be via consortium blockchain solutions or accurate 3D copies.</p>



<h2>Matterport (MTTR)</h2>

Further, it trades at only 0.94X trailing-year sales. It doesn&rsquo;t get much love although the company has a history of delivering outstanding earnings performances.</p>



<p>For fiscal 2024, experts anticipate the company to post earnings per share of 39 cents, above last year&rsquo;s print of 29 cents. Now, the average sales target calls for parity with last year&rsquo;s result. However, the high-side estimate calls for $1.03 billion, up from 2023&rsquo;s tally of $945.43 million.</p>

Beyond its U.S. market, it serves exciting arenas in Brazil, Argentina and Chile, among others.</p>



<p>Right now, the company is built for growth. Currently, its three-year sales expansion rate stands at 27.1%. That&rsquo;s up more than 83% from the rest of the field. However, investors do pay a premium for this revenue growth. For example, VTEX trades at a <a href="https://www.gurufocus.com/stock/VTEX/summary?search=vtex">trailing-year sales multiple of 6.75X</a>, above the sector median 2.21X.</p>



<p>For fiscal 2024, experts believe that the company&rsquo;s loss per share will land at 1 cent. That&rsquo;s an improvement over last year&rsquo;s loss of 7 cents. Also, revenue could hit $243.32 million, up 20.7% from 2023&rsquo;s haul of $255.44 million.</p>



<p>Analysts peg VTEX as a <a href="https://www.tipranks.com/stocks/vtex/forecast">moderate buy</a> with a $10 price target. The high side goes up to $13, making it one of the cheap tech stocks to consider.</p>



<h2>Stratasys (SSYS)</h2>

Given the history of the subsector, SSYS is risky. Still, it could also attract speculators.</p>



<p>Operationally, Stratasys has struggled for momentum. However, the company does enjoy a solid balance sheet, with a cash-to-debt ratio of 8.71X. That&rsquo;s superior to 76.55% of the competition. Also, SSYS trades at a tangible book value of 1.04X. Theoretically, that means the market only prices shares at a modest premium to the sum of its parts.</p>



<p>It is possible that investors could regret not jumping on SSYS when they had the chance. Yes, projected fiscal 2024 revenue of $634.98 million isn&rsquo;t that great compared to last year&rsquo;s result of $627.6 million. However, projected 2025 sales could hit $678.46 million, up nearly 7% from forecasted 2024 revenue.</p>



<p>Analysts rate SSYS a <a href="https://www.tipranks.com/stocks/ssys/forecast">consensus strong buy</a> with a $16.40 price target. Conspicuously, the most optimistic target calls for $23 per share.</p>



<h2>IonQ (IONQ)</h2>

That ranks higher than 88% of its rivals. On the flipside, the valuation is steep. IONQ trades at over 68X trailing-year revenue.</p>



<p>Nevertheless, the growth projections are enticing, leading some speculators to believe that the company could grow into its premium. Experts believe fiscal 2024 revenue could hit $38.93 million, up 76.6% from last year&rsquo;s result of $22.04 million. For fiscal 2025, sales could land at $81.83 million. If so, that would be up 110.2% from projected 2024 sales.</p>



<h2>AST SpaceMobile (ASTS)</h2>

<p>Finally, analysts rate ASTS stock a <a href="https://www.tipranks.com/stocks/asts/forecast">unanimous strong buy</a> with an $11.13 average price target. If the stars align, we could be looking at 420% upside potential.</p>

Moreover, it is expected to grow at <a href="https://seekingalpha.com/news/4070151-grab-beats-top-line-and-bottom-line-estimates-initiates-fy24-outlook">a healthy 14% to 17%</a> this year, positioning it for substantial long-term gains.</p>



<p>A lot of it has to do with the dynamic market it operates in, which is poised to continue growing at a considerable pace. According to Boston Consulting Group, in 2020, ASEAN&rsquo;s middle class grew by 9% to 200 million, with a projected 5% annual increase in middle-income households through 2030.</p>

Moreover, <a href="https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/INTT/profitability">its return on common equity and free cash flow (FCF)</a> margins are over 11.50%, respectively. Despite its solid profile, it&rsquo;s remarkably undervalued, with Tiprank&rsquo;s analysts predicting a 63% upside from current price levels.</p>



<h2>Himax Technologies (HIMX)</h2>

Still, the payout ratio is super low at 25%, suggesting high confidence for yield sustainability. If you&rsquo;re interested in an expanding business with some income to the side, CLMB presents a solid case for tech stocks for growth and income.</p>



<h2>Taiwan Semiconductor (TSM)</h2>

Often labeled as the world&rsquo;s most important chipmaker, TSMC is responsible for <a href="https://www.cnn.com/2024/03/22/tech/taiwan-tsmc-talent-shortage-training-center-intl-hnk/index.html#:~:text=Sometimes%20called%20the%20most%20important,smartphones%20to%20artificial%20intelligence%20applications.">about 90% of the world&rsquo;s most advanced semiconductors</a>. <p>Unsurprisingly given the demand for its products, TSMC has been a consistent performer. In the past four quarters, the company&rsquo;s average positive earnings surprise came out to 6.55%. For the current year, experts believe that EPS will hit $6.28. That&rsquo;s not an unreasonable target and stands well above last year&rsquo;s result of $5.19.</p>



<p>On the top line, analysts anticipate sales of $84.52 billion. Again, that&rsquo;s not unreasonable and represents a 21.8% growth rate from the prior year. Along with that growth, TSMC offers a forward yield of 1.48%. It&rsquo;s not super generous. However, the low payout ratio of 36.22% provides confidence in yield sustainability.</p>



<h2>Broadcom (AVGO)</h2>

It has a focus on complex digital and mixed signal complementary metal oxide semiconductor-based devices. <a href="https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/AVGO/profile">Per its public profile</a>, Broadcom operates in two segments: Semiconductor Solutions and Infrastructure Software.</p>



<p>While the company doesn&rsquo;t exactly light up the board, it consistently gets the job done. Last fiscal year, Broadcom&rsquo;s average positive earnings surprise came out to 2.78%. It ended fiscal 2023 on a high note, delivering EPS of $10.99 against a target of $10.29. For the current year, experts believe that EPS could rise to $46.92, above 2023&rsquo;s print of $42.25.</p>



<p>On the top line, analysts believe revenue could reach $50.35 billion. If so, that would amount to a 40.6% growth rate from last year&rsquo;s tally of $35.82 billion. Not only that, Broadcom offers a forward yield of 1.57%. While it&rsquo;s not the most generous yield, it&rsquo;s difficult to get passive income on such a high projected growth rate. Thus, it&rsquo;s a great idea for tech stocks for growth and income.</p>



<h2>Ituran Location and Control (ITRN)</h2>

<p>For fiscal 2024, analysts anticipate earnings to hit $2.49 per share on revenue of $342.9 million. That&rsquo;s up from last year&rsquo;s results of $2.40 EPS on sales of $319.98 million. The next year, Ituran&rsquo;s top line could expand to $377.7 million.</p>

It operates through four segments: Rent-A-Center, Acima, Mexico and Franchising. Since the start of the year, UPBD lost nearly 9% of equity value. Still, it could be an intriguing idea for tech stocks for growth and income.</p>



<p>One factor that makes Upbound enticing is its robust financial performance. Last fiscal year, the company&rsquo;s average positive earnings surprise clocked in at over 21%. Its best performance was in Q2, with EPS of $1.11 blowing past the expectation of 75 cents. For the current year, experts believe earnings will rise to $3.77 per share. That&rsquo;s above last year&rsquo;s result of $3.55.</p>



<p>On the top line, experts project revenue of $4.14 billion. That&rsquo;s up 3.7% from the prior year&rsquo;s print of $3.99 billion. Notably, the forward annual dividend yield stands at 4.66%. However, the payout ratio is very high so that&rsquo;s something to watch.</p>



<h2>Magic Software (MGIC)</h2>

It also offers cloud-based services in Israel and internationally. Given the broader migration to the cloud, Magic could be an underappreciated idea among tech stocks for growth and income.</p>



<p>Last fiscal year, Magic had one bad miss. In Q3, it posted EPS of 21 cents against a target of 26 cents. However, even inclusive of this miss, the average positive earnings surprise came out to 3.7%. For the current year, analysts on average see EPS reaching 97 cents, which is 2 cents below last year&rsquo;s print. However, the high-side estimate calls for EPS of $1.02.</p>



<p>On the top line, experts believe sales could reach a consensus target of $542.76 million, with a high-side view of $545.55 million. In 2023, the company generated $535.05 million. Enticingly, Magic offers a forward yield of 5.49%, which could invite speculators. Still, it must be pointed out that the payout ratio comes in at 83.6%.</p>



<h2>Himax Technologies (HIMX)</h2>

It mainly offers display driver ICs and timing controllers that are used in various products, including televisions, PC monitors, laptops, mobile phones, tablets and automotive interfaces, among many other applications. While it&rsquo;s not a household name per say, HIMX ranks among the most important ideas among tech stocks for growth and income.</p>



<p>Given the everyday demand for display imaging processing solutions, it&rsquo;s no surprise that Himax has enjoyed strong financial performances. Most notably, the company posted EPS of 6 cents against a target of 4 cents in Q3 last year. For the current year, analysts are looking for EPS to reach 35 cents, above 2023&rsquo;s print of 29 cents.</p>



<p>On the top line, sales could hit $915.84 million with a high-side estimate of $964 million. Last year, revenue landed at $945.43 million. Enticingly, Himax offers a forward annual dividend yield of 9.45%. It&rsquo;s risky because the payout ratio is sky high. Still, if you want growth and robust income, HIMX could be your ticket.</p>
