CNBC&#8217;s Jim Cramer has expressed his support for the initial public offering of Viking Holdings Ltd (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/VIK#NYSE">VIK</a>), despite its high valuation.
What Happened: Cramer, on his show &#8220;Mad Money&#8221; on Thursday, discussed the IPO of Viking, a luxury cruise line, which is the largest IPO of the year so far, <a href="https://www.cnbc.com/2024/05/02/cramer-says-hes-willing-to-pay-up-for-viking-biggest-ipo-of-the-year.html">reported</a> CNBC. 
He noted that Viking&#8217;s stock is more expensive than its peers but still believes it&#8217;s a good investment.
Viking&#8217;s IPO was priced at $24 per share and began trading at $26.15 on Wednesday, closing at $26.10. The stock further rose to $26.99 on Thursday.
"Even though Viking's somewhat hot start has made its stock more expensive than its cruise line peers, I am willing to pay up for this one, because I think it's going to be a winner," he said.
Cramer highlighted Viking&#8217;s unique selling points, such as its ships not having casinos and being adults-only, as well as its focus on affluent customers and niche destinations. He believes these factors give Viking a competitive edge.
"Viking's got a cleaner balance sheet than its peers, differentiated brand, it caters exclusively to high-end customers &#8230; part of the business I expect to hold up better than the mass market side of things," he said.
Despite Viking&#8217;s preliminary first-quarter results showing a slowdown in growth since the pandemic, Cramer remains optimistic about its future. He acknowledged that Viking&#8217;s balance sheet isn&#8217;t perfect, but he sees it as a better option compared to other publicly traded cruise lines.

Kalmbach has expanded beyond media to include e-commerce in the past few years. It has two media properties, one focused on railroad hobbyists and the other on the astronomy community. As part of this transaction, Firecrown is acquiring both. 

Firecrown plans to expand the product lineup at Kalmbach's hobby store (which will be rebranded) to include a greater selection of railroad-fan merchandise. 

Firecrown has even bigger plans for the astronomy e-commerce operation, MyScienceShop.com.

This past February, Firecrown acquired the largest e-commerce store for NASA collectibles, the Space Store. The plan is to merge MyScienceShop into the SpaceStore, creating a "space enthusiast superstore."

Firecrown Media Grows Again with Addition of Trains, Astronomy

<div>Logistics real estate operator Link Logistics signed 696 new and renewing leases in the first quarter, representing 17.8 million square feet of space. In the fourth quarter, it inked deals covering 23.4 million square feet.</div>

Link Logistics' portfolio was 94.6% leased in the first quarter, which was 160 basis points lower than in the fourth. Blended cash leasing spreads — a comparison of new rents to expiring rents — were 44.4%, which was 1,120 bps lower sequentially.

"We entered 2024 with persistent demand for our well-located, last-mile properties" said CEO Luke Petherbridge. "E-commerce continued to be a significant growth driver, along with the onshoring of manufacturing and the transition to clean energy."

New York-based Link Logistics holds the largest U.S.-only logistics real estate portfolio at 533 million square feet, including developments. It has 13.1 million square feet under construction. During the first quarter, it disposed of 10 facilities with 7.1 million square feet, generating $1.5 billion in gross proceeds.

<h3>What to Watch</h3>
On the last earnings call, the tech giant offered a cautious outlook for the ongoing quarter. Apple CFO Luca Maestri indicated that iPhone sales in the March quarter would be similar to last year&#39;s $51.33 billion in revenues. This excludes $5 billion in sales attributed to outperformance a year ago as supply recovered from COVID-19 shutdowns and caught up with demand.
<h3>Are Apple iPhone Sales a Concern?</h3>
Apple stock has been struggling with concerns about iPhone sales, particularly in China. Sales of its flagship product are facing significant headwinds in the crucial Chinese market due to rising competition from domestic smartphone makers as well as national security concerns. Additionally, consumers globally are holding their iPhone devices for longer before upgrading, further weighing on demand and sales growth. 
According to the preliminary data from research firm IDC, Apple lost its crown to South Korean rival Samsung as the world&#39;s biggest mobile phone seller after its shipments fell about 10% in the quarter ended March. Samsung retook the lead in the global market with a 20.8% share, beating Apple&#39;s 17.3% share, which has been dented by slowing sales in China. 
IDC revealed that Apple shipped 50.1 million iPhones in the quarter ended March, down from the 55.4 million units in the year-ago quarter. It was the biggest drop in iPhone sales since COVID-19 lockdowns caused global supply chain chaos in 2022. A separate new report from market research firm Counterpoint Research shows that Apple&#39;s iPhone sales dropped sharply by 19.1% year over year in the quarter ended March in China amid strong competition from domestic brand Huawei.

Vanguard Information Technology ETF manages $62.6 billion in its asset base and provides exposure to 313 technology stocks. It currently tracks the MSCI US Investable Market Information Technology 25/50 Index. Here, Apple accounts for a 15.4% share. Semiconductors, systems software, technology hardware storage &amp; peripheral, and application software are the top four sectors. 
Vanguard Information Technology ETF has an expense ratio of 0.10%, whereas volume is solid at nearly 433,000 shares. 
MSCI Information Technology Index ETF

Vanguard Mega Cap Growth ETF charges 7 bps in annual fees and trades in a good volume of around 303,000 shares a day on average. The fund has an AUM of $18.4 billion.

In addition to efficiency in generating sales, sales growth plays an important role. And Costco is well positioned from a sales growth perspective too. The company&#39;s sales are expected to grow 4.4% this year versus the industry average of 3.9%.
Promising Earnings Estimate Revisions
Superiority of a stock in terms of the metrics outlined above can be further validated by looking at the trend in earnings estimate revisions. A positive trend is of course favorable here. Empirical research shows that there is a strong correlation between trends in earnings estimate revisions and near-term stock price movements.
The current-year earnings estimates for Costco have been revising upward. The Zacks Consensus Estimate for the current year has surged 0.2% over the past month.
Bottom Line

Arguably, AI has already overshadowed some other recent cycles such as SPACs and blockchains. Investors and understandably rushing to find the next undiscovered AI stock set to take off.



However, as with any compelling emerging growth industry, not all the new entrants will be winners. A lot of lesser companies with more challenged business models will latch onto the latest popular trend to try to benefit by association. 



As the adage goes, a rising tide lifts all boats. Right now, a ton of companies are trying to ride the AI wave. Success is far from guaranteed. In fact, these are three <a href="https://investorplace.com/industries/technology/artificial-intelligence/">AI stocks</a> to sell before their fortunes fade. 



<h2>Nano Dimension (NNDM)</h2>

The company was founded back in 2012 and continues to try to commercialize 3D printing for a variety of different industrial and commercial uses.



3D printing has, at times, been a popular theme. In fact, noted investor Cathie Wood launched a whole ETF devoted to <a href="https://www.ark-invest.com/strategy/3d-printing/">3D printing</a> back in 2016, thinking that it was going to become mainstream. But so far companies have struggled to find many popular use cases for 3D printing and the related stocks have underperformed. And 3D printing remains a decidedly niche technology today.



Nano Dimension is now pitching itself as an AI play. On its website, Nano Dimension says it is the first company to <a href="https://www.nano-di.com/why-nano-dimension">apply AI</a> to additive manufacturing. It claims that a production machine can become more than just a printer, but rather a self-coordinating self-teaching fabrication network. The company has filed <a href="https://www.globenewswire.com/fr/news-release/2024/03/19/2848559/0/en/Nano-Dimension-Announces-Another-Deep-Learning-AI-Patent-Granted-to-its-DeepCube-Technology.html">some patents</a> related to AI and has talked about an industrial large language model.



The company continues to lose money, burn cash, and generated only <a href="https://investors.nano-di.com/press-releases/news-details/2024/Nano-Dimension-Announces-Record-2023-Revenue-of-56.3-Million-and-Organic-Growth-of-29/default.aspx">$56 million</a> in revenues last year. They&rsquo;ll have to show a lot more to demonstrate that there&rsquo;s any real heft behind these AI claims. Don&rsquo;t let the low share price fool you, Nano Dimension still has a bloated market capitalization of $600 million. That leaves NNDM stock at a huge price-to-sales multiple given the questionable state of the company&rsquo;s underlying business.



<h2>Adobe (ADBE)</h2>

Some analysts pointed to Adobe as a potential winner from AI. Others are worried that AI could disrupt the firm. A recent <a href="https://www.reuters.com/technology/adobe-drops-weak-forecast-fans-worries-about-competition-ai-efforts-2024-03-15/">earnings report</a> showed that competition is hurting the software company, while the hoped AI boost to its own operations failed to materialize.



AI tools are a wild card for creative designers. The positive is that Adobe can create AI tools of its own to make its clients lives easier and boost productivity. But if AI workflows really take off many clients may not need Adobe services at all. Furthermore, some creative jobs could see AI entirely replace humans. The total number of people signing up for Adobe licenses and subscriptions could fall considerably. 



If Adobe stock were cheap, the valuation might incorporate this AI downside risk. However, even after Adobe&rsquo;s recent stumble, the stock is still at 28 times forward earnings. That&rsquo;s no bargain in the context of the uncertainty around AI and its disruptive impact on the creative tools space.



<h2>Fiverr (FVRR)</h2>

It serves as a place where potential customers can buy services from independent contractors. Fiverr services include things such as private educational classes, proofreading, coding, editing, graphic design, and transcription services. 



Fiverr enjoyed the stay-at-home boom a couple of years ago, as more work went remote. Companies became more comfortable with hiring help from freelancers from all over the world. 



However, Fiverr now faces serious challenges. Growth has declined from more than 50% annually a few years ago to the single digits now. And AI threatens the company&rsquo;s core business, particularly for the entry level five-dollar jobs. Many of those more rudimentary tasks can reasonably be expected to be done by AI systems and tools in coming years. 



Fiverr has pointed to AI as a <a href="https://adage.com/article/marketing-news-strategy/freelance-marketplace-fiverr-tackles-ai-new-campaign/2514811">potential benefit</a> to their business through new intelligent tools and services that augment human tasks. The company has also launched a dedicated <a href="https://seekingalpha.com/article/4672435-fiverr-international-ltd-fvrr-q4-2023-earnings-call-transcript">AI services vertical</a>. However, investors should be skeptical given that the core Fiverr business model is under significant disruption risk from generative AI tools.

As semiconductors continue to shrink, and AI models grow more advanced, we are going to need a massive leap forward in computing power that traditional silicon chips just won&rsquo;t be able to deliver. This is where quantum computers come in. They can theoretically perform calculations exponentially faster than classical computers.



Rigetti Computing (NASDAQ:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/rgti-stock-quote/">RGTI</a>) is one of the more promising startups aiming to make quantum computing a commercial reality. The company develops quantum integrated circuits, and operates a quantum cloud platform called Forest. Notably, Rigetti has strong technology and doesn&rsquo;t face the extreme cash burn issues common among quantum startups. Analysts expect Rigetti&rsquo;s revenue to soar from <a href="https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/RGTI/earnings/estimates">$16.1 million in 2024 to $100 million by 2027</a>. Moreover, the company has <a href="https://www.gurufocus.com/term/rvn_growth_3y/RGTI/3-Year-Revenue-Growth-Rate-Per-Share/Rigettimputing">147.5% 3-year revenue growth rate</a> that crushes 99.5% of industry peers.



With little dilution risk and rapidly growing revenue, Rigetti has the makings of a potential multi-bagger if quantum computing enters the mainstream. This emerging technology could drive the next massive hype cycle in tech. When that happens, Rigetti should be one of the biggest beneficiaries as a pure-play quantum leader. I believe the stock offers asymmetric upside that more than justifies the risks inherent in its small size today.



<h2>Nano Dimension (NNDM)</h2>



Another sector that&rsquo;s worth considering is 3D printing. Indeed, 3D printing has already become commonplace for basic plastic and carbon fiber models. However, printing functional electronics remains a challenge. This is where Nano Dimension (NASDAQ:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/nndm-stock-quote/">NNDM</a>) comes in. The company specializes in additively manufactured electronics (AME), an in-house process for 3D printing circuit boards and electronic devices.



As 3D printing grows more advanced, I expect significant hype around electronic printing capabilities to build. Nano Dimension is one of the leading players in this niche, and its core business is expanding nicely. In 2023, the company&rsquo;s <a href="https://www.google.com/finance/quote/NNDM:NASDAQ">revenue grew 29% year-over-year to $56.3 million</a>. Nano Dimension is also cutting costs, expecting to reach breakeven within 24 months. With $25-$30 million in targeted annual savings starting in Q1 2024, analysts expect Nano Dimension to achieve positive free cash flow in 2025.



As both revenue growth and cost savings kick in, the company&rsquo;s path to profitability looks promising. This makes NNDM stock a solid speculative buy, in my books.



<h2>BrainChip Holdings (BRCHF)</h2>

From Neuralink&rsquo;s headline-grabbing brain chip implants to AR/VR headsets, this space has no shortage of potentially disruptive applications. While mass adoption is still decades away, I believe the hype cycle around consumer brain computing could start much sooner.



One under-the-radar play is BrainChip Holdings (OTCMKTS:<a href="https://investorplace.com/stock-quotes/brchf-stock-quote/">BRCHF</a>), an Australian company specializing in neuromorphic AI chips and IP. As the first commercial producer of this hardware, BrainChip gives investors direct exposure to brain-inspired computing. The stock is very speculative, with a modest $428 million market cap and no revenue. But the long-term upside for this stock could be enormous if brain chips gain broader adoption.



Though brain chips themselves are likely a decade away from the mainstream, the hype cycle should begin much sooner. BrainChip&rsquo;s leadership in neuromorphic AI puts it at the forefront of this emerging trend. Plus, its chips can also pique the interest of many AI companies, as they reduce dependency on big data centers by keeping the machine learning local to the chip. I believe BrainChip represents a potential multi-bagger over the long-run. As brain computing enters the spotlight, this first-mover could see its small market capitalization lifted dramatically higher over time.

 The nanodevice segment dominates the market with a 53.6% revenue share, while the healthcare &amp; pharmaceuticals segment accounts for the largest revenue share of 32.8%. So here are three nanotech stocks that could mint new millionaires overnight.

The company reported the <a href="https://ca.finance.yahoo.com/quote/NNVC/">successful completion</a> of its Phase 1a/1b clinical trial for NV-CoV-2, its broad-spectrum antiviral drug. The trial, focusing on COVID-19 treatment, showed no adverse events. In 2024, NanoViricides aims to <a href="https://ca.finance.yahoo.com/quote/NNVC/">continue advancing NV-CoV-2</a> through further clinical trials, expanding its treatment capabilities to address unmet medical needs. The company&rsquo;s stock has seen moderate volatility, with analysts setting a price target of $6.50, which is more than a 400% implied upside at the time of writing.



Additionally, NanoViricides has expanded its pipeline, developing therapies for various viral infections, including respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), shingles, and other enveloped viruses&#8203;. The biotech industry is volatile and risky enough without throwing nanotech into the mix, but it may also significantly enhance NNVC&rsquo;s upside.

However, net loss from continuing operations was $1.9 million, though adjusted EBITDA was $7.8 million, indicating some operational progress&#8203;.



For 2024, Luna aims to strengthen its technological advancements in fiber optic sensing systems and other areas, reaffirming its position in the market&#8203;.



This nanotech stock has shown volatility, but analysts forecast a positive outlook, with a consensus price target of $10. This gives it an upside of over 380% at the time of writing.



Furthermore, its tiny market cap of just $69 million and negative earnings makes it especially risky. However, its also that needed juice required to mint new millionaires overnight.

Nano Dimension has been expanding its strategic initiatives, particularly through mergers and acquisitions, while also pursuing share repurchase programs&#8203;. For 2024, the company aims to continue consolidating its position in the additive manufacturing market, with a focus on improving its operational efficiency and profitability. This includes plans for continued growth in its core business areas and capital allocation to support its multi pronged strategy.
