Stocks To Watch For July 14

Some of the stocks that may grab investor focus today are: Wall Street expects JP Morgan Chase & Co JPM to report its Q2 EPS at $1.21 on revenue of $25.13 billion. JPM shares gained 0.20% to $39.70 in after-hours trading. Marriott International MAR reported a 13% rise in its second-quarter net income. The company reported its quarterly earnings at $135 million, or $0.37 per share, up from $119 million, or $0.31 per share, in the year-ago period. However, analysts were expecting earnings of $0.37 per share. Its revenue climbed 7% to around $3 billion. The company projects earnings of $1.35 to $1.43 per share for the full year, versus analysts' estimates of $1.42 per share. MAR shares dropped 4.95% to $35.30 in the after-hours trading session. Analysts expect Google Inc GOOG to report its Q2 operating earnings at $7.86 per share on revenue of $6.54 billion. GOOG shares fell 0.31% to $536.57 in after-hours trading. Yum! Brands Inc YUM reported a 10% rise in its second-quarter profit and lifted its full-year earnings forecast. Yum reported its quarterly profit at $316 million, or $0.65 per share, up from $286 million, or $0.59 per share, in the year-earlier period. Excluding tax-related impacts and other items, Yum's earnings came in at $0.66 per share. Its revenue climbed 9.4% to $2.82 billion. Analysts were expecting a profit of $0.61 per share on revenue of $2.7 billion. YUM shares surged 2.46% to $56.95 in the after-hours trading session. Analysts are expecting Fairchild Semiconductor International Inc FCS to have earned $0.40 per share on revenue of $430.27 million in the second quarter.
