B/E Aerospace Inc BEAV reported a 47% surge in its Q2 profit and lifted its full-year earnings forecast. B/E Aerospace reported its quarterly net earnings at $54.8 million, or $0.54 per share, up from $37.3 million, or $0.37 per share, in the year-ago period. Analysts were expecting earnings of $0.29 per share. Kimberly-Clark Corp KMB reported upbeat results for the fiscal second quarter on Monday. Kimberly-Clark's quarterly earnings dropped to $408 million, or $1.03 per share, from $498 million, or $1.20 per share, in the year-earlier period. Its total revenue rose 8% y/y to $5.3 billion. Excluding certain items, the company's earnings came in at $1.18 per share. However, analysts were expecting earnings of $1.14 per share on revenue of $5.1 billion. Kimberly-Clark still projects 2011 earnings of $4.80 to $5.05 per share. Six Flags Entertainment Corp SIX released its results for the second quarter on Monday. Six Flags reported its quarterly profit at $35 million, or $0.62 per share on revenue of $338.7 million. However, analysts were expecting earnings of $0.49 per share on revenue of $349 million. Attendance rose to 8.2 million guests. However, ticket revenue climbed 9% and in-park sales rose 4%. Silicon Laboratories Inc SLAB reported a 36% decline in its second-quarter profit. Silicon Laboratories reported its quarterly profit at $13.4 million, or $0.29 per share, down from $21 million, or $0.44 per share, in the year-ago period. Excluding certain items, the company's earnings came in at $0.48 per share. Silicon Labs in April expected earnings between $0.45 and $0.49 per share. Reckitt Benckiser Group PLC RBGPY reported a 6% rise in its second-quarter net profit. Reckitt Benckiser's quarterly profit surged to 404 million pounds ($659 million). Its revenue climbed 13% to 2.34 billion pounds. Reckitt Benckiser's adjusted profit gained 10% to 418 million pounds. Ryanair Holdings PLC RYAAY reported a 49% surge in its first-quarter net profit. Ryanair's quarterly net profit jumped to EUR139.3 million, from EUR93.7 million, in the year-ago period. Its revenue gained 29% to EUR1.55 billion. Ryanair's ancillary sales, or income other than fares, surged 22% to EUR248 million. Canon Inc CAJ reported a 20% decline in its net profit for the second quarter. Canon's quarterly net profit dropped to Y53.86 billion from Y67.64 billion in the year-ago period. Its operating profit fell 31% y/y to Y78.41 billion from Y113.44 billion. Canon's revenue declined 14% y/y to Y836.57 billion from Y970.36 billion. For the full year, Canon lifted its net profit projections to Y260 billion from Y220 billion. It also lifted its operating profit forecast to Y380 billion from Y335 billion and its revenue outlook to Y3.78 trillion from Y3.73 trillion.
