Stocks To Watch For August 4

Some of the stocks that may grab investor focus today are: Wall Street expects General Motors Company GM to report its Q2 EPS at $1.20 on revenue of $36.71 billion. GM shares surged 1.21% to $27.50 in after-hours trading. Zumiez Inc ZUMZ reported a 4.9% rise in its July sales at stores open at least one year. However, analysts were expecting an increase of 7.5%. Zumiez shares dipped 13.28% to $23.50 in the after-hours trading session. Analysts are expecting CVS Caremark Corporation CVS to have earned $0.64 per share on revenue of $26.76 billion in the second quarter. CVS shares fell 0.39% to close at $36.21 yesterday. Activision Blizzard Inc ATVI reported its Q2 profit at $335 million, or $0.29 per share, up from $219 million, or $0.17 per share, in the year-ago quarter. Activision Blizzard's adjusted profit came in at $0.10 per share. Its revenue came in at $699 million. However, analysts were expecting earnings of 0.05 per share on revenue of $599.32 million. Activision Blizzard shares jumped 2.45% to $12.11 in the after-hours trading session. Analysts expect Kraft Foods Inc KFT to report its Q2 EPS at $0.58 on revenue of $13.15 billion.
