However, analysts were expecting net income of $0.74 per share on revenue of $2.72 billion. Nordstrom shares surged 3.95% to $44.00 in the after-hours trading session. Wall Street expects J.C. Penney Company Inc JCP to report its Q2 EPS at $0.06 on revenue of $3.91 billion. JCP shares gained 0.63% to $27.00 in after-hours trading. NVIDIA Corp NVDA reported better-than-expected quarterly results. The company reported its second-quarter adjusted income at $0.32 per share on revenue of $1 billion. However, analysts were expecting net income of $0.25 per share on revenue of $1 billion. Nvidia shares jumped 11.86% to $15.00 in after-hours trading. Molycorp Inc MCP swung to a net profit in the second quarter. Molycorp reported its quarterly net income at $48.8 million, or $0.52 per share, versus a loss of $23.3 million, or $0.47 per share, in the year-ago period. Its revenue jumped to $99.6 million, from $1.9 million. However, analysts were expecting a profit of $0.39 per share on revenue of $98.4 million. Molycorp shares climbed 7.33% to $58.11 in after-hours trading. Bally Technologies Inc BYI reported a decline in its fiscal fourth-quarter profit and issued downbeat forecast for the current quarter and fiscal year. The company reported its quarterly net income at $25.5 million, or $0.51 per share, down from $51 million, or $0.89 per share, in the year-ago quarter. On an adjusted basis, the company's earnings came in at $0.56 per share. Its revenue rose 9% y/y to $214 million, from $195.3 million. However, analysts were expecting a profit of $0.56 per share on revenue of $203.5 million. BYI shares gained 8.10% to close at $35.24 yesterday.
