Wall Street expects Dell Inc DELL to report its Q2 EPS at $0.49 on revenue of $15.76 billion. Dell shares jumped 4.19% to $16.15 in after-hours trading.
Agilent Technologies Inc A reported a 61% rise in its fiscal third-quarter profit. Agilent's quarterly earnings surged to $330 million, or $0.92 per share, from $205 million, or $0.58 per share, in the year-earlier quarter. Excluding one-time items, Agilent earned $0.77 per share. Its revenue climbed 22% to $1.69 billion. However, analysts were expecting earnings of $0.73 per share on revenue of $1.66 billion. For the current quarter, Agilent projects adjusted net income of $0.79 to $0.81 per share on revenue of $1.74 billion to $1.76 billion. Analysts were expecting adjusted earnings of $0.81 per share on revenue of $1.75 billion. Agilent shares dropped 1.73% to $36.85 in the after-hours trading session.
Analysts are expecting Wal-Mart Stores Inc WMT to have earned $1.08 per share on revenue of $108.26 billion in the second quarter. WMT shares fell 0.10% to $49.93 in after-hours trading.
Urban Outfitters Inc URBN reported a 21% decline in its profit for the fiscal second quarter. Urban Outfitters reported its quarterly net income at $56.7 million, or $0.35 per share, down from $71.7 million, or $0.42 per share, in the year-ago period. Its revenue climbed 10% to $609.2 million from $552.2 million. However, analysts were expecting earnings of $0.32 per share on revenue of $604.1 million. URBN shares dipped 6.90% to $27.64 in the after-hours trading session.
Analysts expect Home Depot Inc (The) HD to report its Q2 EPS at $0.83 on revenue of $19.96 billion. HD shares fell 0.03% to $31.45 in after-hours trading.
