Shares of Energy Partners EPL rose about 4.7% after the company's Board of Directors authorized a program for the repurchase of shares of its outstanding Common Stock for up to an aggregate cash purchase price of $20 million. Shares of Cisco Systems Inc CSCO gained about 1.4% after the company reported that it has acquired privately-held Versly. Financial terms of the deal are undisclosed. Shares of NXP Semiconductors NXPI gained about 2.8% after Crocus Technology today announced the acquisition of NXP Semiconductors' MRAM patent portfolio.
