Shares of Exterran Holdings Inc EXH dropped about 6.7% after the company appointed Brad Childers as president and chief executive officer of Exterran. The company's board also appointed William Austin as executive vice president and chief financial officer of Exterran Holdings. Shares of McDonald's Corp MCD gained about 0.6% after the company reported a strong rise in its worldwide November sales. McDonald's sales at restaurants open at least 13 months surged 7.4% globally. However, analysts were expecting a rise of 4.6%. McDonald's same-restaurant sales in Europe gained 6.5%. McDonald's Holdings Co (Japan) reported an 8.7% y/y surge in its same-store sales in November. Shares of CDI Corp CDI fell about 1.3% after the company announced its plans to reduce around 200 jobs. CDI projects a pre-tax restructuring charge of around $8 to $9 million in the fourth quarter. Shares of United Continental Holdings Inc UAL dropped about 4.5% after the company reported a 3.6% drop in its total November traffic. United Continental's total traffic declined to around 15.56 billion revenue passenger miles, versus 16.15 billion revenue passenger miles, in the year-ago period. Its total November capacity fell 4% to 19.16 billion available seat miles. United Continental's load factor climbed to 81.2% versus 80.9%.
