U.S. stock futures traded mixed this morning. Here are some big stocks recording gains in today’s pre-market trading session.

  • Verona Pharma plc VRNA shares jumped 39.3% to $18.80 in pre-market trading after the company reported positive results of its Phase 3 ENHANCE-1 trial evaluating nebulized ensifentrine for the maintenance treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
  • Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group, Inc. SMFG gained 16% to $7.97 in pre-market trading.
  • Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, Inc. MUFG gained 12.6% to $6.25 in pre-market trading.
  • Qurate Retail, Inc. QRTEB gained 12.3% to $7.33 in pre-market trading after climbing over 13% on Monday.
  • NextDecade Corporation NEXT shares climbed 10.1% to $4.55 in pre-market trading after dipping 7% on Monday.
  • IAMGOLD Corporation IAG surged 9.9% to $2.00 in pre-market trading. IAMGOLD reported transaction with Sumitomo Metal Mining to provide up to $340 million in additional funding for the construction of the Côté Gold Project.
  • Icosavax, Inc. ICVX rose 8.1% to $9.77 in pre-market trading after declining 9% on Monday. The company recently provided a six-month immunogenicity update from its Phase 1/1b trial of IVX-121 against respiratory syncytial virus.

  • Super Micro Computer, Inc. SMCI rose 5.5% to $82.61 in pre-market trading. Super Micro Computer will join S&P MidCap 400 replacing Steel Dynamics, effective Thursday, December 22.
  • Deutsche Bank Aktiengesellschaft DB gained 5.2% to $11.07 in pre-market trading.
  • Lucid Group, Inc. LCID gained 5% to $7.59 in pre-market trading after the electric vehicle company said it had finalized a $1.5 billion equity offering, first announced in November.
