GTI Opens New RISE Stores In Minnesota And Pennsylvania

RISE Dispensaries, a cannabis retail chain owned by Green Thumb Industries Inc. GTII GTBIF, recently expanded its retail footprint by kicking off medical cannabis sales at two new locations.

The store at 7700 N 42nd Ave. in New Hope, Minnesota, is the company’s seventh location in the state and 78th nationwide.

Located at 225 Westside Square Drive in Mercer, Pennsylvania, the RISE Grove City store is the company’s 79th retail location in the nation.

Florida’s Four New Stores

Meanwhile, in Florida, where the most successful cannabis business event in the world — the Benzinga Cannabis Capital Conference — gathered top CEOs and executive industry experts last week, three cannabis operators announced the opening of their new storefronts selling medical cannabis.

Sanctuary Cannabis opened the eighth medical dispensary at 1260 Beville Rd. in Daytona Beach.

Cresco Labs CL CRLBF, a vertically integrated multistate cannabis operator launched cannabis sales at its second store on the west side located at 8717 SW 24th St. in Miami.

AYR Wellness Inc. AYR AYRWF, a leading vertically integrated US multistate cannabis operator, has opened two new retail stores in Winter Haven and Palatka. Both stores will offer many of the cannabis brands and products and feature a “bud bar,” providing customers with a sensory experience showcasing samples of whole flower strains currently available for purchase.

Illinois, Colorado And Oregon Get New Rec Marijuana Stores

In the Prairie State, Ascend Wellness Holdings, Inc. AAWH AAWH opened a recreational cannabis outlet dispensary. Located at 16200 S Harlem Ave, Tinley Park, this is Ascend's ninth shop statewide and 27th in the nation.

Colorado-based cannabis dispensary chain known for its award-winning Cherry Creek and Manitou Springs locations — Emerald Fields — bolstered its retail footprint in the Boulder and Denver areas from two marijuana dispensaries to six.

Following their acquisition by Schwazze SHWZ SHWZ in 2022, the Emerald Fields team has opened up four new recreational dispensaries, including locations in South Boulder (5190 S Boulder Rd), the Denver Highlands neighborhood (2675 W 38th Ave), Wash Park (2215 E Mississippi Ave), and Aurora (503 Havana St).

Broadway Cannabis Market has launched its third dispensary in Downtown Portland, Oregon. The new location is situated on the Southwest side of Broadway in the historic US Outdoor Store at 219 SW Broadway Ave.
