AMC Entertainment, Nikola, Cleveland-Cliffs And Other Big Stocks Moving Lower In Monday's Pre-Market Session

U.S. stock futures traded higher this morning on Monday. Here are some big stocks recording losses in today’s pre-market trading session.

  • AMC Entertainment Holdings Inc AMC shares dipped 26.8% to $3.85 in pre-market trading after a crucial court ruling for the movie theater chain.
  • Aurora Acquisition Corp. AURC dipped 16.7% to $29.87 in pre-market trading. Aurora Acquisition Co announced that Aurora’s shareholders voted to approve the proposed business combination with Better and each related proposal at an extraordinary general meeting of Aurora’s shareholders.
  • Xiao-I Corporation AIXI shares tumbled 15.6% to $6.00 in pre-market trading after declining around 12% on Friday.
  • Nikola Corporation NKLA shares declined 14.9% to $1.66 in pre-market. In response to a recent fire probe revealing the cause of fires, Nikola decided to halt sales and voluntarily recall 209 Class 8 battery-electric trucks.
  • WeWork Inc. WE shares fell 6.9% to $0.19 in pre-market trading after gaining over 10% on Friday. The stock has been volatile after the company recently said there was substantial doubt over its ability to stay in business.
  • Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. CLF shares declined 6.4% to $13.75 in pre-market trading. United States Steel Corp. X rejected a buyout offer from rival steel manufacturer Cleveland-Cliffs but welcomed the latter to participate in a formal review process.
  • Standard Lithium Ltd. SLI fell 5.5% to $3.99 in pre-market trading after declining around 6% on Friday.
  • Valneva SE VALN shares fell 5.4% to $13.50 in pre-market trading as the company announced prescription drug user fee act date extension for chikungunya virus vaccine candidate.
  • The Mosaic Company MOS shares fell 2.5% to $40.65 in pre-market trading. Barclays downgraded Mosaic from Equal-Weight to Underweight and announced a $40 price target.
  • U.S. Silica Holdings, Inc. SLCA shares fell 2.5% to $12.41 in pre-market trading. U.S. Silica Holdings named Jay Moreau as Executive Vice President and COO, succeeding Mike Winkler effective Aug. 14.
