Nike, Carnival And 3 Stocks To Watch Heading Into Friday

With U.S. stock futures trading higher this morning on Friday, some of the stocks that may grab investor focus today are as follows:

  • Wall Street expects Carnival Corporation CCL to report quarterly earnings at 75 cents per share on revenue of $6.69 billion before the opening bell. Carnival shares gained 0.8% to $14.56 in after-hours trading.
  • NIKE, Inc. NKE posted upbeat earnings for its first quarter, while sales missed expectations. Nike shares surged 7.9% to $96.67 in the after-hours trading session.
  • Genius Group Limited GNS is expected to post first half 2023 financial results before the opening bell. Genius Group shares rose 0.5% to $0.9410 in after-hours trading.

  • Vail Resorts, Inc. MTN posted weaker-than-expected sales for its fourth quarter. The company posted a quarterly loss of $3.35 per share, versus a year-ago loss of $2.70 per share. Vail Resorts shares gained 2.7% to close at $242.25 on Thursday.
  • Madrigal Pharmaceuticals MDGL reported pricing of $500 million public offering. Madrigal Pharmaceuticals shares gained 3.8% to $157.43 in the after-hours trading session.
